New Paediatric Default Settings
To make it easier to fit children up to the age of 16, we have introduced a new and more flexible way of handling paediatric default settings. These age-related settings apply to all instruments based on the RISE platform.
Default settings

For children aged 0-3 years, Directionality and Noise Management are set to OFF.

For children aged 4-16 years they are set to ON.

The push button is disabled for all paediatric fittings - meaning that the VC is OFF and only one program is prescribed.

The default settings can be easily altered to suit your personal preferences. This is done by accessing the Paediatric Default Settings dialogue (shown in figure 1 above) in the Genie Preferences menu.
